This case does NOT fit the Ipad.. as one viewer wrote she keeps the case within a case.. I don’t do that, it weighs enough without having a case within a case..
.. this was supposed to fit the Ipad but its too long and the Tabs on four corners that will hold the Ipad can’t reach the top since its much longer then its supposed to be.. which means the second you open it (it zips all the way around) it can fall out very easily. also the corner tabs at the top are a cheap thin plastic.. the kind that can break if you have it get hot or cold.. the ones at the bottom are elastic which makes more sense.
I emailed CS, no answer.. I called and got a fax machine with the number they have listed.. I am now filing a claim for refund.. not worth ther $$$ pass this one up.. even the package said Padded case.. its NOT an Ipad case.. don’t be fooled

This is a very nice case! I chose a case that was fitted slightly larger than cases fitted exactly to the iPad; this allows me to keep a hard shell case on the device itself (as I do my iPhone). The external dimensions are ~11.5in x 8.in; and internal dimensions are ~7.5in x 10.5in. The foam padding is nice and not too thick and bulky. There are straps to help hold the device in place: 2 clear plastic (non-stretchy) and 2 regular elastic types. There is nothing else inside to get in the way of the device. Also, the seams are finished nicely so that there won’t be any problems with scratching the device. The two-way zippers on the main and external pocket are good quality. The external pocket is padded lightly on the exterior side – this is no problem since the charger, USB cable and camera kit will go here. This case will indeed fit in a tote but not a regular purse.
