  1. I specifically wrote and asked if this product would produce the 10 watts necessary to charge an iPad and was told yes I ordered the item and it is just an iphone charger. Yes, it will charge, but the iPad says not charging and it takes twice as long as a 10 watt charger to charge. And it will not charge if you are using the iPad.

So if you have a couple of extra iphone chargers laying around, you do not need to purchase this item.

  2. D. Kallan says:

They call this a “Home Travel Charger for Apple iPad” and tout it specifically as an iPad charger, but it isn’t. Maybe it works fine for an iPhone, but it definitely does not supply the necessary power for an iPad. All you’ll see is “Not Charging”. At best, this is negligent selling–at worst it is intentionally deceptive. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that it was an honest mistake.
